Octopus Hockey Festival 2026

An international veterans hockey tournament that is much more than a sporting event: three days of hockey, celebration and Galician gastronomy.

Twenty years ago we started to experiment with what would happen if we added a good dose of celebration and the typical gastronomy of Galicia to hockey for three days. Today we know that every September we make new friends while enjoying ourselves like children.

One and a half days of matches: Saturday all day and Sunday morning
Men's teams (+35) and women's teams (+30)
FIH-approved astroturf hockey pitch (Mariñamansa, Ourense)
Join as a team or as a player without a team — we will find you one
